DMCA / Copyright / Rimozione contenuti (ITA)
Ultimo aggiornamento: 14 ottobre 2026

YuVideos also accepts and processes copyright infringement notices formulated according to the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), as well as reports submitted pursuant to European Union law and other applicable legislation.
1. Copyright infringement notices
If you believe that copyrighted material has been published on YuVideos without authorization from the copyright owner, you may request its removal.
To allow us to properly identify and evaluate the disputed material, your notice should contain:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- The direct URL or URLs of the disputed content on YuVideos
- Your contact information, including your name, email address and, where necessary, additional contact details
- A good-faith statement that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
- A statement that the information provided is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Reports must be sufficiently precise to allow YuVideos to identify the content concerned. Where information is missing, YuVideos may request additional information before fully evaluating or processing the request.
Anyone who knowingly submits false or misleading information in connection with a copyright infringement notice may be subject to liability under applicable law, including, where applicable, Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
2. Intimate, private or non-consensual content
Important: YuVideos does not tolerate the unauthorized distribution of sexually explicit or intimate material intended to remain private, including private content, sexting, non-consensually distributed intimate images or videos and similar material.
Reports concerning non-consensual intimate content, the protection of minors or other situations that may cause serious harm to an individual are treated with the highest priority.
YuVideos strictly prohibits any sexual content involving persons under the age of 18. Reports concerning suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation material may be submitted without identifying the reporting person where this is permitted by applicable law.
3. Removal procedure
When YuVideos receives a sufficiently precise and substantiated report, it reviews the identified content and promptly takes appropriate action. Such action may include removing the content, disabling access to it, restricting its visibility or taking other measures provided for under applicable law or YuVideos’ Terms and Conditions.
Where YuVideos has the electronic contact information of the reporting person or entity, YuVideos will provide confirmation of receipt without undue delay and subsequently communicate the decision taken regarding the reported content.
Where action is taken against content uploaded by a user and YuVideos has that user’s electronic contact information, the affected user will be informed of the decision and, where required by applicable law, of the reasons for the decision and the available possibilities for review or redress.
Valid and complete notices are generally reviewed and processed within 24 to 72 business hours. Particularly urgent situations or those involving severe harm to an individual may be handled with greater speed and absolute priority.
4. Review request / Counter-notice
If your content has been removed or disabled and you believe that the decision resulted from an error or misidentification of the material, you may request a review of that decision.
Your request should contain:
- Identification of the content that was removed or disabled and, where available, its original URL
- A clear explanation of why you believe the removal resulted from an error or incorrect information
- Your name and email address
- Any information or documentation that may demonstrate your right to publish the content
- A good-faith statement that the information provided is accurate
YuVideos will evaluate the request and may, where appropriate and permitted by law, restore the content or confirm its previous decision.
5. Repeat infringements
YuVideos does not tolerate repeated infringements of intellectual property rights or other third-party rights.
Accounts belonging to users responsible for repeated or serious infringements may be suspended or permanently terminated, taking into account the circumstances of the case, the nature of the infringements and the information reasonably available to YuVideos.
Digital Services Act (DSA) - Illegal Content Reporting
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services (Digital Services Act - DSA), YuVideos provides users, rights holders and any other individual or entity with an electronic mechanism to report specific content available on the service that they consider to be illegal.
This mechanism may be used not only for copyright infringements but also to report other types of allegedly illegal content, including, by way of example, privacy violations, non-consensual publication of intimate material, illegal content involving minors, fraudulent impersonation or other violations of applicable law.
6. How to submit a DSA notice
To allow an effective assessment, the notice should include:
- A sufficiently substantiated explanation of the reasons why you consider the reported content to be illegal
- The exact URL or URLs of the content concerned and, where necessary, additional information enabling its identification
- Your name and email address, except where applicable law permits a report without such information
- A statement confirming your good-faith belief that the information and allegations contained in the report are accurate and complete
Reports are processed in a timely, diligent, objective and non-arbitrary manner on the basis of the information available and applicable law.
Submitting a report does not automatically result in removal of the content. YuVideos evaluates each request and takes the measures considered appropriate based on the circumstances of the case, its Terms and Conditions and applicable law.
